I am a COSCA (Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland) qualified South-Asian Indian psychotherapist. Through the course of gaining my Masters degree, Counselling Diploma certification, and fully accredited professional qualification in counselling and psychotherapy, and further educational pursuits, I had the privilege of working in multiple settings in both public and private sectors across the globe. I have worked with a diverse range of clients including children, adolescents, adults, and elders, exploring varied emotional complexities, distress, and psychological vulnerabilities through psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and psychodiagnostic testing.
I am also an award-winning qualitative researcher, and workshop and group facilitator in India, USA, Scotland, and England. My research is largely centered around therapist training, processes in therapy, supervision, sex + disability, culture, trauma, and lived experience.
As an ethical, reflective, and dedicated practitioner, I firmly believe that therapy should be a safe and supportive space, and am passionate about integrating warmth, compassion, and authenticity into the therapeutic relationships I foster. I aim to provide an empathetic, non-judgmental, and holistic space for my clients, embracing transparency, openness, and vulnerability, welcoming clients from all walks of life.
